Fandango Club Creators S.r.l. (hereinafter, also ‘Fandango’), organizer of the event ‘Be Comics’ (hereinafter, the ‘Event’) to be held at the Padua Exhibition Centre (hereinafter, the ‘Venue’) on 15 and 16 March 2025, has adopted the general conditions set forth herein (hereinafter, the ‘Terms and Conditions’) in order to regulate the purchase of admission tickets to the Event.

 

1. Purchase
1.1. Portal: tickets for the Event can be purchased through the www.becomics.it website. In order to be able to make the purchase via the aforementioned website, it is necessary to register your data as buyer and as ticket holder. Tickets may also be purchased in hard copy at the Venue.

1.2. Security: Fandango reserves the right to cancel a purchase order if for any reason the purchase, sales and bank security parameters are not met. This will be notified by e-mail and the sum paid for the purchase will be refunded in full.

1.3. Purchase confirmation: the purchase procedure ends with the display confirming the purchase and with the receipt of a confirmation e-mail at the address indicated during registration. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please check your junk mail (spam) folder. You can receive assistance by writing to [email protected].

2. Tickets
2.1. Duplication/Falsification: Fandango is not responsible for any attempts to duplicate/falsify tickets. The scanners at the entrance read the unique codes of the tickets, it is not possible to re-enter using the same code.

2.2. Loss/Theft/Transfer to third parties: in the event of loss, theft, deterioration and destruction of the ticket, Fandango will not replace or re-issue the ticket. The ticket may not be transferred or given to third parties for commercial, advertising or promotional purposes.

2.3. Printing: tickets are electronic (.pdf) and must be downloaded from your account and printed. It is recommended not to resize the ticket when printing so as not to make the barcode illegible. In case of reading problems, it is the holder's responsibility to re-print the ticket.

2.4. Withdrawal: there is no right of withdrawal from the purchase of tickets made online as this is a supply of leisure services for which the supplier undertakes to provide such services on a given date or within a set period (Art. 59 Legislative Decree 206/2005).

2.5. Refunds: tickets are not refundable and/or changeable, not even in the event of even partial cancellation of the Event.

2.6. Access: the Ticket entitles the Ticket Holder to attend the Event on the day and at the times specified on the Ticket. The Ticket Holder is obliged to keep the Ticket in good condition throughout the duration of the Event.

2.7. Sale of Tickets: the sale of Tickets by the Purchaser is strictly prohibited; Tickets may not be resold and may not be cancelled, exchanged or refunded under any circumstances. A Ticket for which the purchase, payment or access itself has been disputed shall be deemed invalid. The Ticket Holder must in this case purchase another Ticket at the prices and conditions applied on the days of the Event in order to gain access.

 

3. Access, obligations of conduct and prohibitions
3.1. Access requirements: all Visitors, at the time of registration or in any case following any requests made in the Venue by staff appointed by Fandango, must provide truthful information on their identity and activities. In the event of false declarations, the person concerned will be prosecuted as prescribed by law. In any case, Fandango reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse entry to Visitors it deems inappropriate, also with regard to the assessments of the Public Safety Authority.

3.2. Behavioral obligations: the Visitor shall comply with the Terms and Conditions, as well as with any further rules that Fandango may deem to adopt, also due to the participation in specific activities. In addition, in order to access the Event and stay inside the Venue, Visitors shall behave in compliance with the regulations on public order and safety and shall not pose a threat to the safety of the Event in general or to the visiting public.

3.4 Evacuation: in the interest of public safety, Fandango reserves the right to ask visitors to leave the Venue, or parts thereof, at any time. At the end of the event, Visitors shall make their way in an orderly manner to the designated emergency exits. No admission or re-admission is permitted before or after the end of the Event.

 

4. Cancellation - rescheduling of the event
Fandango reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule the Event and/or the events connected to it scheduled in its calendar.

Visitors also acknowledge that certain events such as adverse weather conditions, security and public order reasons, force majeure or other factors not attributable to Fandango may result in the cancellation or rescheduling of dates and times of the Event.

In such cases, Fandango shall not be liable for any costs, charges, expenses, damages incurred by the Interested Party in view of participation in the Event.

Similarly, Fandango shall in no way be held liable for any cost, charge, expense, damage incurred by the Interested Party in view of participation in the Event in the event that the Visitor, for reasons beyond Fandango's control, does not participate in the Event.

 

5. Films, photographs and recordings e registrazioni
Visitors, by participating in the Event, access a ‘place of public character’.

In this regard, Fandango informs that, through its own personnel and/or specifically appointed professionals, it may take photographs and/or general video footage to document and promote the Event by any means (and therefore, among other things, on its website, social channels, related editorial products and on any other printed and digital information support) and that third parties authorised in advance by Fandango will take audio/video footage of the Event. By participating in the Event, Visitors, for themselves and for any minors for whom they have parental authority, agree to be photographed and/or filmed in a recognisable manner.

Visitors shall not be entitled to any consideration or compensation whatsoever for the use of the aforementioned materials.

Visitors also take note that, as indicated by appropriate signs, all areas outside and inside the Venue, for security reasons, are subject to video surveillance. The images taken by these systems may be made available to the judicial authorities or police upon request.

Images, videos and sound recordings made by Visitors during the Event may not be used except for domestic and private purposes. Therefore, Visitors may not, among other things, market, grant for use to third parties (free of charge or otherwise), broadcast, publish or otherwise exploit such material. 

 

6. Damages and liability
Fandango accepts no liability for damages caused to the Visitors for facts not attributable to Fandango itself nor for damages caused by the Visitors to third parties and/or their property.

Fandango shall not be held liable for the consequences arising from the imprudent or negligent behaviour of the Visitors; Visitors are in any event required to observe the utmost diligence and prudence while participating in the Event.

Any incident involving the Visitors shall in any case be immediately reported to the supervisory staff for direct checks on the state of the places and things and for the relevant documentary certifications; in any case, the failure of the Visitors to immediately report it relieves Fandango of any possible liability towards the Visitors. Fandango, moreover, cannot be held liable for any unforeseeable and/or indirect damage suffered by the Visitors, who in any case waive any right to claim damages as a result of accidents or damage of any kind attributable to their presence during the Event. 

 

7. Protection of Personal Data
Visitors‘ personal data, including any data provided at the time of access to the Event, and their images pursuant to Article 4 above, shall be processed by Fandango as Data Controller in accordance with the information provided by them pursuant to Article 13 of European Regulation No. 2016/679 (’GDPR"), accessible on the website www.becomics.it.

 

8. Online Dispute Resolution – ODR

Consumers residing in countries belonging to the European Union are hereby informed that for the resolution of disputes relating to this contract and to the online services offered by this website, there is the possibility of resorting to the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) procedure, provided for by the European Commission and available at the following link: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/

9. General Provisions
By obtaining an admission ticket and showing it to the reception staff upon entry, visitors confirm and accept the Terms and Conditions.

The Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by Italian law. Any dispute concerning the General Conditions shall be devolved exclusively to the jurisdiction of the Court of Milan, without prejudice to the application of the mandatory provisions of law.

Fandango reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time. An updated copy of the Terms and Conditions will be posted on the Event's website www.becomics.it and will be effective immediately upon disclosure. ​​​​​​​
